Meet Our Management Team
Jeffrey Guthrie - Founder & CEO
Jeff Guthrie is a native Phoenician, husband, and father of 3. After spending 4 years at WP Carey’s School of Business he left a career in finance to pursue full-time entrepreneurship. Jeff worked with another roofing company and helped take their revenue from $12M to $48M within 4 years. Although the experience was fulfilling, he never felt quite at his best working on someone else’s vision. After much consideration he decided to start his own company, Phoenix Roofing & Repair. His vision is to create leak-proof roofs with the fastest turnaround and best customer experience in the industry. So far he’s off to a good start!
Josiah Guthrie - Founder & COO
Josiah Guthrie is from Phoenix and a father to three boys. After graduating from ASU with a degree in history, he taught history and literature for five years before starting in the construction industry. He and his brother Jeff worked with ProWest Roofing for five years before deciding to branch off on their own. As lead times on new projects can run very long, one of the goals of Phoenix Roofing has always been to execute projects in a timely manner.
Estil Wallace is a husband, father, entrepreneur and investor. He co-founded Phoenix Roofing & Repair with Jeff and Josiah Guthrie. His skillset centers around team assemblage, plan development and execution. Some of the spaces he has worked in include software, healthcare and construction.

Jamie Guthrie have been a stay-at-home mom and wife for the past 10 years. Prior to this she worked in various clerical and administrative positions while pursuing a college degree in nursing. She decided not to go into her field of study and instead devote her time to helping her husband and brother-in-law pursue our dream of creating the best roofing company in Phoenix! It turns out her job as a professional multi-tasker for the last decade has translated greatly into being an asset for Phoenix Roofing & Repair. She couldn’t be happier to be back in the workforce applying this skillset to set our company apart from the rest!
Jamie Guthrie - Account Executive
Carrie Kolbeck is originally from New Hampshire, but has happily made her way to Arizona. She has a diverse background in commercial construction and property management. The skills she has developed have led her to Phoenix Roofing where she loves displaying her creative nature, while developing and nurturing relationships with clients throughout the roofing process.
Carrie Kolbeck - Business Development
Kathryn Armenta is an Arizona native and ASU graduate. She is a licensed public adjuster, and has been adjusting insurance claims since 2019. She is expeditious in her response with insurance companies, and enjoys advocating on behalf of our clients. Kathryn has certifications from The Asbestos Institute and The IICRC in Water Restoration. She recently had her first child who is the light of her life. She enjoys any and all live music, traveling with her family, and doing yoga.
Kathryn Armenta - Billing Coordinator
Robin Ferguson is an Arizona native and an ASU graduate. She has degrees in journalism and mass communication. The skills she’s learned have allowed her to flourish in the roofing industry. She started out in roofing sales in 2020, and moved into project management shortly after. She loves being able to communicate with our clients effectively while also educating them about the roofing process. Her knowledge of product information, as well as her technical experience, makes her a great asset and team member at Phoenix Roofing & Repair. When she isn’t on a roof, she enjoys tending to her plants/garden, traveling, and cooking at home.
Robin Ferguson - Lead Estimator
Lawrence is a Phoenix native, but currently splits his time between Arizona and Sweden. He has been the lead estimator and report writer for Jeff and Josiah Guthrie since late 2020. Being tech savvy and creative, Lawrence uses the skills he has learned within various fields to provide prompt and accurate information to prospective clients. He seeks to ensure fast and accurate estimating services in an effort to provide transparency in all aspects of our work.

Devan Harle - Lead Superintendent
Devan Harle is a Phoenix native, and full-time father of one. He spent more than a decade in the tech industry excelling in both sales and customer service. Devan won multiple customer service awards at GoDaddy, where he worked for nearly 7 years. When covid forced everyone home, he decided it time for a change. He was given a home at Phoenix Roofing & Repair, where he is now able to utilize both his customer service expertise and mechanical nature. "We all have families and understand how important your homes or businesses are to you. We want this to be an experience you enjoy, and not a nuisance.”
Jake Heim is originally from Iowa. Being from a military family he has lived in many places, but has landed permanently in Arizona. His work experience started in manufacturing and project management. Jake started his career in roofing in 2019, and has since had the chance to work in multiple markets, including the Midwest and Florida. Jake brings knowledge of many different roofing systems - as well as a hard work ethic - into his fieldwork at Phoenix Roofing & Repair, ensuring the best possible experience in the building process.
Jake Heim - Field Superintendent
Josh Farra is a proud father to two little girls and loves being a girl dad. After moving to Phoenix in 2010 he worked in the service industry briefly. He then transitioned into contracting sales; first in artificial turf and then eventually settling into the roofing industry as a project manager. Josh eventually made his way to Phoenix Roofing & Repair, thanks to his decade long friendship with Jeff and Josiah. The self proclaimed "third Guthrie brother,” Josh takes pride in his ability to efficiently communicate with clients from the beginning to the end of the project, ensuring a positive Phoenix Roofing & Repair experience.

Chris Breitengross - Roof Consultant
Chris Breitengross is originally from Chicago, but decided to make Arizona his home after falling in love with the weather and mountains while studying management at Northern Arizona University. He has enjoyed working in sales most of his career, and loves being able to work face-to-face with our homeowners - he takes pride in being able to shake their hand at the end of a job well done. He loves the fact Phoenix Roofing & Repair can get jobs installed quickly, so homeowners don't go long with leaky roofs. When he’s not on a roof, you might catch him in front row listening to live music or camping in the mountains.
